The God Face 4
The God FaceSometimes we walk with God in the garden, surveying the work to be done, looking forward to the blossoming of God’s will, but know in our hearts, minds and souls that the forbidden fruit is irresistible. Do we dare to turn, look in the face and admit our weakness and evil intentions or do we make a transparent excuse and wander away from him? How long can we trust in a God who invites us to walk another minute, second or hour with him. When does that little switch get flicked when we cease to pray, stop walking with God and start walking on our own? What kind of trouble do we find in the aloneness we so craved? What part of God and his love do we take with us when we walk separately from God?
